	Philadelphia’s Tri State Labor Parade and AFL-CIO Family Festival Monday, September 2, 9:15AM – 2PM Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing Admission $10 This parade and festival, produced by the Philadelphia Council AFL-CIO, begins with a parade at 1301 S. Columbus Blvd and culminates at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing with face painters, magicians, a craft center, Eurobungy, Survivor Island, Rollin’ Raceway, music from the Urban Guerilla Orchestra and a wide variety of food and much more.  ·      Family Friendly, Parade

	Coast Day from the Delaware to the Schuylkill Waterfronts Saturday, September 7, 12 – 5PM Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing and the Marina at Penn’s Landing FREE Organized with the Partnership for the Delaware River Estuary, and part of the WHYY Connections Festival, Coast Day from the Delaware to the Schuylkill Waterfronts is the opportunity to see what the Pennsylvania coast has to boast. Coast Day is free fun that the entire family can enjoy, featuring visiting fireboats, free kayak and swan boat rentals, free ferry rides, the PA Tug Boat Festival, Coastie the river mascot and many other kids activities. ·      Free, Family Friendly, Boats

	Recovery Walks Saturday, September 21, Walk begins at 8:30AM Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing FREE PRO-ACT will host its 12th annual Recovery Walk to show that recovery from addiction is real. The purpose of Recovery Walks! 2013 is to provide hope to others; for people to do their part in reducing the stigma of the disease of addiction; to educate the media; to celebrate SAMHSA’s Recovery Month; to honor people and organizations that provide services for the recovery community; to honor those who have not survived this disease; and to raise funds so that PRO-ACT can continue to expand its services to the growing number of individuals and families who wish to access and sustain long-term recovery.  ·      Free, Music, Food, Community Service

	Walk for Primary Immunodeficiency Philadelphia Sunday, September 29, 7AM – 12PM Walnut Plaza at Penn’s Landing Registration Needed The Walk For Primary Immunodeficiency is a family-friendly walk. Participants will raise money ahead of time, and will gather on the day of the event to walk a marked route as part of a community building and awareness raising effort for our patient community.
