Friday evenings take on a whole new groove with Art After 5, a unique blend of entertainment from 5:00–8:45 p.m.**. With an eclectic mix of international music on the first Friday of each month, and recognized and emerging jazz artists performing all other Fridays, it’s a stylish way to start your weekend.
The Great Stair Hall is transformed into an intimate cabaret for Art After 5 performances. Starr Events serves up fun, sharable snacks and light supper options, as well as cocktails, wine and beer to compliment the live entertainment. Relax at a table with waiter service or stop by the bar.
This month's line-up includes "Singer Zeek 'The Experience', Rienne aka Speak Poet,Ms.Wise, Lloyd Alexander,Ms.Wise,Twizzmat

Our curator for this event,Nina “Lyrispect” Ball is a dynamic award-winning artist, poet, organizer, multicultural teaching artist, and producer whose work has been featured in galleries, documentaries, classrooms, and sold-out concerts. Join Lyrispect and a lively and diverse lineup of performers for an evening of music and poetry.
This show is free after the price of museum admission. Not only is it all ages, but its a quick show. We suggest arriving in time to tour the museum, then get a good seat for the show! Food by Steven Starr. Beer,Cocktails and table service if preferred.
Please note: The performances are from 5:45-7. Dance Party begins immediately after the live show!All the way turned up by Maggy's Rooftop Aerial! Open to the public!
